1969年、作曲家・プロデューサーの村井邦彦によって設立された
ミュージック・パブリッシャー/音楽制作会社、後にレーベル。
当時24才であった村井邦彦は、日本のポップ・ミュージックを世界標準に引き上げ、
アルファミュージックは現在のミュージックシーンの礎を築いたアーティストたちの
名曲、名盤を次々に生み出しました。
作曲家であった荒井由実をシンガーソングライターとしてデビューさせ、
YMOを全世界で成功させるなど、
70年代、80年代にアルファミュージックが輩出したアーティスト、音楽、カルチャーは
日本の文化遺産です。


Alfa Music is a music publishing and production company, and later a label, founded by composer and producer Kuni Murai in Tokyo in 1969.
Murai, who was 24 at the time, would raise the standard of Japanese popular music to that of the world through Alfa Music, releasing masterpiece after masterpiece by legendary artists that are now the foundation of the current music scene in Japan.
From releasing the debut album by singer-songwriter Yumi Arai, who was a composer at the time, to providing a platform for YMO’s global success, the music and art produced by Alfa Music throughout the 70’s and 80’s are now touchstones of Japanese cultural heritage.
