【訃報】高橋幸宏さん Yukihiro Takahashi 1952-2023

ミュージシャンの高橋幸宏さんが1月11日、逝去されました。享年71。
1972年にサディスティック・ミカ・バンドに加入し、プロとしての音楽活動を本格的に開始。1975年には同バンドにて英国ツアーを行うなど、国際的な活動をしています。サディスティック・ミカ・バンド解散後、サディスティックスを経て、細野晴臣、坂本龍一とともにイエロー・マジック・オーケストラ（YMO）を結成、二度にわたるワールドツアーを行い、その音楽性が世界の音楽シーンに大きな影響を与えました。1983年のYMO“散開”後は、YMO結成前より続けてきたソロ活動に軸足を置き、並行してTHE BEATNIKS、pupa、METAFIVEといったバンド／ユニット、再結成したサディスティック・ミカ・バンドやYMOでの活動のほか、ソングライター、音楽プロデューサー、ドラマーとして数多くの作品／ライヴに参加してきました。さらには俳優、タレント、服飾ブランドの運営など音楽だけにとどまらない多方面の分野でその才能を発揮してきたことでも知られています。2022年、音楽家としての活動50周年を迎えています。

Musician Yukihiro Takahashi passed away on January 11. He was 70 years old. (Counting the day he was born as age 1, he was 71 years old.)
Yukihiro Takashi joined Sadistic Mika Band in 1972 and his career as a professional musician kicked off. In 1975 he and the band toured the UK, and they were spreading their music to worldwide audiences. After the breakup of Sadistic Mika Band and after Sadistics, he then formed Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) with Haruomi Hosono and Ryuichi Sakamoto, which went to two world tours and had a major impact on the music scene worldwide. After YMO announced their "spreading out" in 1983, he focused on his solo career, which he had been doing before the formation of YMO. In addition, he worked with bands/units such as THE BEATNIKS, pupa, METAFIVE, the "reunited" Sadistic Mika Band and YMO. As a songwriter, music producer, and drummer he participated in numerous works and shows. He is also an actor, TV personality, and owner of fashion brands. He is known for his talents in a variety of fields. In 2022, he celebrated his 50th anniversary as a musician.
